Sing New York! A Choral Celebration
The Sing New York! festival will run every year from April 15 through June 15. The festival will encompass the scheduled performances of more than 50 New York City choral groups, presenting concerts of familiar as well as rarely-heard works by Medieval and Renaissance masters; well-known and beloved works by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms; brand-new as well as familiar works by contemporary composers; and almost everything in between. You will have a chance to hear everything from familiar favorites to rarely hear classics and world premieres.

Why a Choral Celebration?
Over the course of any typical season, a concert-goer in New York City can choose from among more than 450 choral concerts, presented by any of the more than 150 choral groups that perform here. No other city in the US can boast such a wealth of choral music, or such an astounding number of choruses. These groups – amateur, semi-professional, or professional – offer an extraordinary sampling of choral music across all periods: chant, Medieval, and Renaissance works; gems by the Baroque and Classical composers and works by living composers whom you'll often find in the audience.
Please join us on your own personal musical journey. Hear old favorites; Explore something new. You will leave enriched and enlightened. Check out the calendar of events >
